Kohnke's Own Harness Special Provides Extra Iron, B12, Folic Acid and Vitamin E (2100IU/60g dose) to meet the Elevated Needs of Harness Horses fed on low or inadequate diets

All you have to add to your grain, chaff and hay ration, is Kohnke’s Own Harness SpecialTM and salts – saves money, no sift-out,dust or sludging in the feed bin!

Directions for Use:

Each scoopful holds 40g of Harness Special. Mix well into feed. 

Grain, Chaff and hay based rations:

Early training: 40g daily in feed.

Full training & Racing: 60g daily, divided between two feeds.

'Top up' of Prepared Feeds

Harness Special is a suitable 'all-in-one' supplement to make up shortfalls in the diet where the full recommended amount of prepared feed is not fed and additional grains such as oats, barley or corn are added to boost energy levels. As a guideline, for every extra 1kg of grain added to boost energy in a prepared feed, add 10g of Harness Special to make up the low levels in the grain boosted ration.

Includes dose rate of 10g/1kg where additional grain is added to increase the energy in prepared or ready-mixed feeds to ensure full nutrient needs are met for hard working harness horses.

Handy Hint: During early training, supplement grain, chaff and hay based feeds with 40g of Harness SpecialTM, increasing to 60g daily once fast ‘hobble-up work’ is commenced on a regular basis. All you need to add is calcium if required on low lucerne diets and salt or Cell-Salts to complete the ration!
