Proflex is a broad spectrum joint food that may assist with maintaining healthy cartilage, ligaments, tendons and bones.  Equitec Proflex may be useful in the management of  Arthritis, joint stiffness and other age related or degenerative joint conditions.  Proflex is derived from unique organic sources which increases the bioavailablity of the active ingredients.

Directions for Use:

Mix one scoop in morning feed and one scoop in night feed. Scoop size is 35g.

Pro-flex contains the following:

Glucosamine is found in tendons, ligaments, synovial fluid, muscle membranes and several structures in the eye, blood vessels and heart valves. 

Methlysulphonylmethane (MSM) is a source of sulphur that is converted into an important component of connective tissue.  It may have a role in supporting normal osteo, oxidative and anit-inflammatory function.  

Lysine is an amino acid that when hydroxylated by Vitamin C, is extremely important in the structure of cartilage tissue and protein synthesis.

Vitamin C is an essential element for the formulation of the hydroxyl groups needed in cartilage synthesis. Vitamin C deficiency may result in reduced production of collagen - the protein based structure in tendons and ligaments.

Zinc is required by over 70 different enzymes to function. In this instance Zinc is used in the hydrolysis and cross linking needed for collagen formation.

The Citrus Bioflavenoid Hesperidin may support normal antioxidant function. 

Gotu Kola is a herb thought to support the integrity of blood vessels and connective tissue.

Pro-flex is a safe, non-toxic formualtion designed to assist in the long term health of tendons, ligaments and cartilage.  It is a non-swabbable product that is sfae to use on the day of competition.

Proflex is not a "quick-fix".  The regeneration and nourishing of joints and associated joint structures is a continuous process to help manage arthritis in horses and other degenerative joint conditions in horses.  An improvement may be evident in as little as a few days.  This does not, however, mean that the problem has been cured.  Administration of Pro-flex should be continued as an integral part of an Arthritis treatment plan or preventative management plan
