Contains chlorhexidine one of the most widely used and effective disinfectants and germicides. Non-irritant. Controls a wide range of bacteria even in the presence of foreign matter. 

COMPOSITION: Chlorhexidine Gluconate 50 g/L

Chlorhedidine Gluconate is cationic disinfectant; bactericidal against many Gram-positive and
Gram-negative bacteria, but ineffective against spores.

Chlorhedidine Gluconate may be used as an antiseptic, disinfectant for general surgery and clinical surface disinfection of equipment (e.g. operating tables), instruments (except those containing cemented glass); preoperative skin preparation.


DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

General antiseptic:

Dilute 20mL in 1L clean water to produce 0.1%w/v aqueous solution.

Preoperative skin preparation, instrument/equipment surface disinfection.

Dilute 10mL in 15mL water, make up to 100mL with industrial methylated spirit to make 0.5% w/v in 70% w/v alcoholic solution.

Note: The 0.1% w/v aqueous solution should b discarded after 1 month and the 0.5%w/v in 70% w/v alcoholic solutions should not be used after 12 months.
